Ashley and Levi’s Tuscan Ridge Wedding in North Carolina

Hi, I’m James

I specialize in fun, documentary-style wedding photography, and focus on the genuine moments and heartfelt joy of your wedding day.

On a sunny Labor Day weekend outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ashley and Levi celebrated their marriage surrounded by family and friends at the beautiful Tuscan Ridge wedding venue in Oakboro. Their day was filled with heartfelt moments, meaningful traditions, and personal touches that made it truly unforgettable.

A Day of Unity and Celebration

Ashley, Levi, and Levi’s son shared a touching unity sand ceremony, blending three colors of sand to symbolize their new family bond. The ceremony also included a moving tribute to Levi’s late father, bringing tears to many eyes.

Keeping with tradition, the couple sealed their vows by jumping the broom, hand in hand, before heading into a lively evening celebration.

The reception perfectly reflected their personalities. Guests swapped formal shoes for sneakers at a one-of-a-kind “sneaker ball” wedding reception, where Levi’s infectious laugh filled the room as everyone danced the night away. Adding even more joy, fraternity brothers and sorority sisters honored the couple with traditional songs, making the evening unforgettable.

Tuscan Ridge’s Rustic Charm

Nestled in the North Carolina countryside, Tuscan Ridge combines rustic elegance with Italian-inspired architecture, making it one of the most photogenic wedding venues near Charlotte. Its sweeping views, stone pathways, and warm-toned interiors created the perfect backdrop for Ashley and Levi’s celebration.

As a wedding photojournalist, I focused on capturing authentic moments instead of stiff poses. From the tears during the vows to sneakers on the dance floor, my goal was to preserve the raw emotion and joy that made their Tuscan Ridge wedding so memorable.
