WHY I’M GIVING AWAY A $700 ENGAGEMENT SESSION THIS FALL
After years of photographing weddings in North Carolina, I relocated to Connecticut earlier this year. I’ve always loved fall, but I’ve never experienced it here in New England.
This giveaway is my way of celebrating this new chapter and inviting one couple to slow down, enjoy the season, and have it documented in a way that feels true to them.

Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Must be 18 years or older to enter.
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Engagement session must include only two human subjects (dogs are welcome).
Winner must be engaged and planning a wedding.
Finalists will be contacted by the photographer to confirm entry qualifications. Failure to respond within 48 hours will result in disqualification.
The winner is responsible for all transportation costs to and from the session location.
Session Details & Scheduling
The session must be scheduled between October 16, 2025, and October 28, 2025. Failure to schedule within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize.
The session location will be determined during a planning call, but must be within a 60-mile radius of Old Saybrook, CT.
The winner must sign a standard photography agreement before the session.
Rescheduling due to weather will be at the photographer’s discretion. If the winner cancels or does not show up, the prize will be forfeited.
Deliverables & Image Use
Expect high-resolution images delivered via an online gallery within 1 weeks after the session.
The winner may use the images for personal use, including social media and wedding announcements.
Nix Weddings retains the copyright and may use the images for promotional purposes, including on the website, social media, and marketing materials.
No raw or unedited images will be provided.
Additional Terms
The prize cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash.
