My Favorite Wedding Photos of 2025
Hi, I’m James
I specialize in fun, documentary-style wedding photography, and focus on the genuine moments and heartfelt joy of your wedding day.
2025 marked a new chapter for me. It was my first full year photographing weddings in Connecticut, and I’m grateful for the people I met along the way.
You’ll see a mix here: some from weddings I second-shoot and some from my own couples. What doesn’t change is what I’m after: real reactions, in-between moments, and photos that still feel true years from now.

Candid Wedding Photos with Real Emotion
A wedding day moves fast, and the real stuff doesn’t wait for the camera. The moments I care about most show up in half-seconds. A laugh that catches you off guard. A tear that comes out of nowhere. My job is to stay present, keep up, and document it as it unfolds.

Real Reactions You Can’t Plan
You can plan a timeline, but you can’t plan a reaction. The best photos happen when people stop thinking and just live the day. That’s where the story gets honest. Not posed, not performed, just real connection happening in real time

Wedding Photos That Age Well Over Time
Trends change, but emotion doesn’t. These are the images that will still make sense years from now because they’re tied to feeling, not a formula. Real joy, real nerves, real love. That’s what I want you to remember when you look back.

Credit and Thanks
One of the best parts of this year was getting to work alongside other photographers as a second shooter. I’m grateful for the trust and the opportunity to contribute to their couples’ stories.
I’m also grateful for the photography community here in Connecticut. It’s been welcoming, supportive, and full of people who care about the work.
